Frequently Asked Questions

Bay Area Cigar Weekend is strictly a 21+ event. Valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry to all events. No exceptions will be made. This policy is enforced at every venue and event throughout the weekend.

All events are cigar-friendly and take place in designated smoking-permitted venues or outdoor spaces. Cigarettes and vaping may be restricted at certain venues — cigar smoking is the focus of the weekend. Please be respectful of venue staff and fellow attendees.

Parking varies by venue. Most events are located in urban areas with nearby paid parking garages. We strongly recommend using BART, rideshare, or the Bay Ferry when possible. Specific parking details for each event will be included in your confirmation email and the event detail pages.

Each event is ticketed individually — purchase tickets for the specific events you want to attend. Ticket links are available on the Schedule page next to each event. All tickets are digital — you'll receive a QR code via email after purchase.

September in the Bay Area is typically warm and sunny during the day (65–80°F) with cool evenings (50–60°F). San Francisco can be foggy in the mornings. We recommend layering — bring a light jacket for evening outdoor events. Oakland and the East Bay tend to be warmer and sunnier than San Francisco.

All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued except in the event of a cancelled event. In the case of event cancellation, ticket holders will be notified via email with refund instructions. Ticket transfers to another person are permitted — contact us at [email protected] to arrange a transfer.
